XIAOMI SU7

The Xiaomi SU7 is a highly anticipated New electric vehicle that has shown remarkable overall performance.

Although Xiaomi SU7 is heavily camouflaged in test photos, some design details can still be identified. It adopts a meter-shaped lamp group design, with upgraded internal grille shapes in the lower part of the front face and black piano paint multi-spoke rims. The rear features a larger fixed wing instead of a liftable spoiler, providing better downforce. It is also expected to have upgraded brake systems, and possibly improvements in suspension and electronic control.

For the high-performance version, Xiaomi SU7is rumored to be equipped with a V8 motor. This motor can reach a maximum rotational speed of 27,200 rpm and has a strength of up to 960 MPa, with a power output expected to exceed 1,000 horsepower.

The current available Xiaomi SU7 MAX version, for example, can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.78 seconds. It offers a CLTC pure electric range of 800 kilometers and is equipped with air suspension. In comparison with the Tesla Model 3, it shows advantages in acceleration,续航, and suspension.

The interior of the test vehicle is likely to undergo lightweight processing for track tests, with the removal of unnecessary trim panels and screens, while installing racing roll cages, racing seats, and other safety protection equipment.

The Xiaomi SU7 demonstrates excellent performance. It outperforms competitors like the Tesla Model 3 and NIO ET5 in acceleration. For example, in the 0-100 km/h acceleration, the SU7 can sprint in 3.24 seconds, while the NIO ET5 follows in 3.83 seconds, and the Tesla Model 3 finishes in 4.62 seconds.

The Xiaomi SU7 also achieves a relatively high rate in range tests. When tested with a 19” Michelin e-Primacy low rolling resistance tire, the SU7 MAX achieves a high-speed range of 643 kilometers, with a range retention rate of nearly 80%. This is claimed to be the highest measured range among publicly available information for mass-produced electric four-wheel drive models in the industry.
