On the evening of August 3, 2024, Geely Galaxy’s first pure electric SUV model – Galaxy E5-New Energy Car – officially announced its market launch and simultaneously initiated the delivery of the first batch of vehicles. The new car has launched a total of five models in two range versions, with the official price range being 118,800 yuan to 148,800 yuan.
The Geely Galaxy E5 is built based on the GEA global intelligent new energy architecture and is positioned as a compact SUV. It is a global model created by Geely. The new car is the first to be equipped with Geely’s self-developed God Shield Short Knife battery, and is equipped with many leading technologies such as the Galaxy 11-in-1 intelligent electric drive, the Galaxy Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit, and the CTB battery body integration technology.

Geely Galaxy E5 adopts Geely Galaxy’s family-style “Light Ripple” front face design. And the new car offers two battery pack capacities to choose from, and the corresponding CLTC pure electric range is 440km and 530km respectively. At the same time, the new car also applies Geely’s full-stack self-developed “Rubik’s Cube” thermal management system, which can achieve 20-in-1 ultra-high integration. It is worth mentioning that the Galaxy E5 is fully equipped with the new generation of God Shield Short Knife battery as standard, with an energy density of 192Wh/kg. The official claims that it only takes 20 minutes to charge the battery from 30% to 80%, and 10 minutes of charging can provide a range of 135km.
