Recently, the GAC NE E8 Glory Series was officially launched. The new car introduces two models, the ZhiZai Edition and the Glory Edition, with official guide prices of 166,800 yuan and 179,800 yuan, respectively. The GAC NE E8 Glory Series is equipped with the GAC i-GTEC 2.0 Super Hybrid System, which adopts the highest thermal efficiency 2.0ATK hybrid dedicated engine among the same displacement engines currently available in the market. This achieves the advantages of ultra-low fuel consumption and ultra-long endurance, further expanding the E8 product matrix while meeting the needs of various family users.
As a mid-size MPV model, the GAC E8 has dimensions of 4920mm1900mm1760mm (length, width, and height) and a wheelbase of 2930mm. The longer wheelbase and larger body provide a more impressive appearance and a more comfortable experience. The interior space height of the GAC E8 is nearly 1300mm, which is far higher than that of a sedan. The 375mm ultra-low platform design allows children to board without being carried and elderly people to avoid bending over. The large opening of the double-sided electric sliding doors makes it easy to enter and exit the vehicle. Besides the handrails for adults, there are also dedicated handrails for children on the B-pillars.
In addition, the GAC E8 offers flexible seating arrangements with seven or four seats. The new car comes with the i-GTEC ADiGO intelligent driving and interconnected ecosystem. ADiGO 5.0’s new interface design and interaction language offer a more intuitive and user-friendly smart experience with simpler and more convenient interaction logic. Based on ADiGO 5.0, the GAC NE E8 Glory Edition fully supports the original and highly compatible HUAWEI HiCar interconnected application.
The ADiGO SPACE ultra-sensing interactive smart cockpit is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. It also features an 8.88-inch digital LCD instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch high-definition central control touch display, paired with an easy-to-use UI system, showcasing intelligent characteristics.
ADiGO PILOT ultra-sensing intelligent driving enables an L2-level intelligent driving assistance system. It provides comprehensive driving assistance, including FCW forward collision warning assistance, LDW lane departure warning assistance, ACC adaptive cruise control assistance, and eight other driving aids.
