Export Overview:
The new 2026 Avatr 12 is a five-door luxury fastback offered with three distinct powertrain routes. The range-extended versions combine a 52.01 kWh battery, two rear motors producing 400 kW and an official 350 km electric range. Rear-wheel-drive electric versions use a 98.07 kWh battery, produce 502 kW and are rated at 735 km. Three-motor all-wheel-drive versions produce 712 kW and are rated at 670 km. Estimated FOB pricing starts from approximately US$46,800 for the Max range-extended version. Buyers should distinguish the April 2026 model from earlier vehicles advertised under the same model year.

B2B Export Note: We bypass standard MSRP multipliers to calculate true FOB pricing for the 2026 Avatr 12 (LHD Suv), deeply integrating domestic terminal discounts, internal shipping, China-side export document preparation and third-party inspection fees (SGS). This supports a clearer export workflow. Destination customs clearance, taxes, certification, and registration remain the responsibility of the importer or its broker.

This reference applies to an available unregistered Max range-extended vehicle from the new April 2026 model family. Final pricing depends on production date, color, optional equipment, domestic transport, export-document status and the exchange rate at confirmation.

The new 2026 Avatr 12 is not a conventional range in which every higher price buys more power or more range. The Max and Ultra versions within each powertrain share the same battery, motor output and official driving range.

The real decisions are whether the buyer needs gasoline-supported long-distance travel, the longest fully electric range, three-motor performance, air suspension or a four-seat rear cabin.

A 2026 registration year does not confirm which Avatr 12 is being quoted

Avatr used the 2026 model-year description before launching the substantially revised vehicle in April 2026. Earlier listings may therefore show a lower starting price, a single rear motor, different battery specifications and an earlier driver-assistance package while still being advertised as a 2026 Avatr 12.

The new vehicle is identified by seven versions starting at RMB 293,900, two rear motors on the rear axle in the range-extended and long-range electric models, a three-motor system in the performance versions and four lidar sensors across the range.

This distinction matters more than the registration year. A quotation describing a RMB 269,900 starting price, a single 231 kW rear motor or the earlier three-lidar arrangement is not the same technical generation covered on this page.

The Royal Theatre version should also not be confused with the separate Avatr 012 limited edition. The Royal Theatre belongs to the regular new Avatr 12 range and costs RMB 433,900, while Avatr 012 is a different limited-production vehicle with its own price and specification.

The range extender, long-range electric and three-motor versions serve different buyers

The Max range-extended version is the lowest-priced vehicle, but it is not a low-output entry model. Its two rear motors produce 400 kW and 690 N·m, while the 52.01 kWh battery carries an official electric-range rating of 350 km.

That combination suits a buyer who can charge regularly but also needs to complete long intercity journeys where dependable high-output charging is not available. The generator provides continuity after the battery reserve falls, while the large battery allows a substantial part of normal use to remain electric.

The Max electric version costs only RMB 10,000 more. It removes the gasoline generator, increases battery capacity to 98.07 kWh and raises motor output to 502 kW. Its 735 km China-cycle rating is the highest in the range and its curb weight is lower than that of the range-extended car.

This makes the Max electric version the strongest technical value where the destination has reliable charging and the buyer does not need gasoline backup. The claimed ten-minute charging performance, however, depends on a compatible high-output charger, suitable battery temperature and the correct charging interface. It should not be treated as a guaranteed result on an ordinary public charger outside China.

The Performance version changes the purpose of the car again. A front motor joins the two rear motors, increasing combined output to 712 kW and 996 N·m. Its official range falls to 670 km because the additional motor, traction hardware and vehicle mass prioritise performance over maximum distance.

Max, Ultra, Performance and Master are not four steps in the same performance ladder

Moving from Max to Ultra does not increase battery capacity, motor power or official range. Within both the range-extended and electric pairs, the additional price is mainly associated with air suspension, continuous damping control, road-preview functions and additional comfort equipment.

The Max versions retain electronically controlled damping without the air-suspension system. They suit buyers who prefer a simpler chassis or who do not need adjustable ride height. Ultra is more relevant when ride-height control and the broader comfort package will be used regularly.

The Performance, Master and Royal Theatre versions all use the same 712 kW three-motor system and carry the same 670 km official range figure. Master therefore does not buy a faster basic powertrain than Performance.

The Royal Theatre version is even more specific. Its main distinction is a four-seat layout with two individual rear seats and a more elaborate passenger environment. It should be selected for rear-cabin use, not because the buyer expects more motor power or a larger battery than the less expensive three-motor versions.

The rear-windowless body changes what an overseas buyer must value

Avatr 12 has no conventional rear window. The driver’s rearward view depends on a camera and digital interior mirror, while electronic exterior mirrors are available on selected vehicles as an additional package.

Recent owner reports describe a short adaptation period and particularly useful visibility in rain, at night and when bright headlights are approaching from behind. Wider camera coverage can also reduce the need for large head movements during lane changes. These are individual experiences rather than proof that every driver will prefer the system.

For an overseas buyer, the decision has an additional layer. Electronic exterior mirrors may be subject to local approval rules, and their replacement cost and parts availability differ from those of conventional glass mirrors. The exact vehicle should therefore be selected according to the destination market rather than assuming the camera package is always the higher-value choice.

The same principle applies to Huawei’s driver-assistance environment. All seven versions carry extensive sensing hardware, but advanced navigation-based functions, parking services, maps, subscriptions and future software releases may depend on Chinese accounts, supported cities and remote updates.

The physical value of the battery, motors, suspension, cameras and basic safety assistance remains. Buyers outside China should price the vehicle around the confirmed functions available on the selected car, rather than assigning full value to every China-market software feature shown in promotional material.

Official technical information is available on the Avatr 12 model page. Other vehicles from the manufacturer are listed in the Avatr vehicle category.
